Abstract

The claimed design is for a hair straightening iron; the hair straightening iron is a clampdown straightener with ceramic heating surfaces and air channels to direct air across hair adjacent to the ceramic heating surfaces; the clamp-down straightener can move between a closed position, as shown in FIGS. 1.1-1.10, and an open position, as shown in FIGS. 2.1-3.10; when in the open position, a guide arranged to limit an amount of travel in the open position can be observed; the clamp-down straightener includes a bulbous underside to define a receptacle configured to receive a hairdryer; in some embodiments, the ceramic surfaces are substantially rectangular in shape; the broken line shown in the figures form no part of the claimed design; the dash-dot broken lines represent boundary lines that form no part of the claimed design; the appearance of any portion of the figures between break lines forms no part of the claimed design.
