Dental model attachment for articulator

Abstract

The industrial design concerns the shape and configuration of a dental model attachment intended to be digitally positioned within dental CAD software and subsequently unified with a three-dimensional printed dental model; the characteristic features of the design reside in the internal cavity geometry, proportions, and contour transitions visible in the reproductions; the overall appearance is defined by smooth cylindrical surfaces and a recessed concave region that visually distinguishes the coupling area; the colors and shading shown in the reproductions serve only to separate elements and do not form part of the claimed design; the yellow line in 1.1 represents the contour of the male component inserted within the female attachment; it is for illustrating the positional relationship and depth alignment between the two complementary parts only and does not form part of the claimed design.
