Abstract

Reproductions 1.1 and 1.2 illustrate a new ornamental design for a beehive entrance protector; the beehive entrance gate includes a rigid structural frame supporting a transparent front panel; the front panel is equipped with a several slits and openings distributed across its surface, enabling the bees to move towards the protected entrance of the hive; the device forms a physical barrier configured to restrict access to hornets or other predators while maintaining unrestricted movement of bees entering and leaving the hive; reproduction 1.1: front view; reproduction 1.2: side view.
