Abstract

1. The design consists of a 4-second animated image sequence; first, a wedge-shaped ‘pestle’ appears vertically in the image from top to bottom, with the wide end facing upwards; next, the pestle moves vertically slightly downwards and the shape of a ‘mortar’ or bowl slowly forms on the lower left side of the ‘pestle’, running from the left and then under the tip of the pestle to the right; in a continuous movement, the stylised symbol (‘pestle and mortar’) shifts slightly to the left, while at the same time the lettering ‘NOVARTIS’ appears in its entirety.; 2. The design consists of a 4-second animated image sequence; first, a wedge-shaped ‘pestle’ appears vertically in the image from top to bottom, with the wide end facing upwards; next, the pestle moves vertically slightly downwards and the shape of a ‘mortar’ or bowl slowly forms on the lower left side of the ‘pestle’, running from the left and then under the tip of the pestle to the right.; 3. The design consists of a 20-second animated image sequence; first, the design consists of a majority orange colour on the left and centre which changes via a graduated gradient into a majority blue colour; the colours gradually move in a clockwise motion around the outer edge of the design with the orange and blue waxing and waning in prominence before returning to the majority orange colour on the left and centre which changes via a graduated gradient into a majority blue colour.; 4. The design consists of a 4-second animated image sequence; firstly the design consists of a stylised "alarm" symbol with radiating "alert lines" all in black; the design gradually increases in size, turning in colour to an orange / blue gradient; the design then adds an "exclamation mark" in the centre, shaking from side to side, with the "alert lines" disappearing and reappearing, before reverting to the design of a stylised "alarm" symbol with radiating "alert lines" all in black.; 5. The design consists of a 4-second animated image sequence; firstly, the design consists of a stylised DNA helix chain in black consisting of a half helix at the bottom left, a full helix in the middle and a half helix at the top right; the design gradually increases in size, turning in colour to an orange / blue gradient, before the helix chain gradually moves diagonally from left to right with full helices appearing as half helices disappear before reverting in size to a stylised DNA helix chain in black consisting of a half helix at the bottom left, a full helix in the middle and a half helix at the top right.
