Quran stand and prayer mat

Abstract

The Quran stand (display and reading stand) and prayer mat storage unit is crafted from a a curved plate comprising a single piece; it features two separate sections: a slanted surface for holding the Quran or any other book; the second section is a niche at the back used for storing various prayer mats as well as essential items (rosaries, prayer garments, etc.); the foot at the bottom ensures the stability of the entire curved structure; the discontinuous lines indicate the portions that are not part of the design for which protection is claimed.
