Abstract

The design relates to an axial fan comprising a cylindrical housing, a multi-bladed impeller and fixed support ribs located behind the impeller; the impeller blades are formed with serrated trailing edges; the support ribs are connected to a central part for mounting an electric motor and are located between it and the housing; on the outside of the housing are formed mounting ribs and a cable duct for locating and protecting the power wires; the design is intended for use in ventilation systems for domestic and industrial applications.
