Abstract
The invention provides an adapted protective insert for use with a garment which includes an operatively inner layer of a first material, an operatively outer layer which is attached to the operatively inner layer about a perimeter, and an intermediate layer of a moisture wicking material between the operatively inner and outer layers, wherein the intermediate layer is sized to have a border which, when engaged to the outer layer or inner layer, is inwardly spaced from the perimeter.
