Abstract

This invention relates to an information management method and more particularly, but not exclusively, to an information management method for managing information relating to motor vehicle license. The invention including the steps of receiving data relating to a scanned vehicle code displayed on a vehicle license of a vehicle or receiving a copy of the vehicle code; decoding the received vehicle code or using the data relating to the scanned code, to retrieve vehicle information therefrom, matching the retrieved vehicle information to previously stored vehicle information stored in a database; checking if payment information is recorded against the previously stored vehicle information; and transmitting a result indicating payment status.
