Abstract
There is disclosed a composite pylon comprising a set of semi-pipe segments, with each segment including a pair of parallel edges and terminating in two opposing ends, with the edges being provided with complementary flanges shaped and configured for the semi-pipe segments to be aligned along a longitudinal axis and to be secured to each other to form a monopole by securing associated flanges on each segment to the operatively associated flanges of another segment.
