Abstract

A system is provided with a processor and memory storing instructions that, when executed, obtain time-series data for multiple parameters, including amplitude values over time. The processor determines ranges of amplitude values corresponding to different severity levels for each parameter and associates each amplitude value with its severity level based on these ranges. The system then displays multiple graphs, each representing a sequence of severity levels for a parameter along a linear time axis. Severity levels are visually encoded using distinct colors or tones, and the graphs are arranged in parallel for comparison. Alignments across these graphs, where increases in severity occur simultaneously for more than one parameter, indicate issues affecting multiple parameters of the rotary machine at the same time. This visualization enables quick identification of correlated anomalies and supports efficient diagnostics of complex machine behavior.
