Abstract

The present invention relates to a method and a system for monitoring the position of a continuous rolling mill hydraulic cylinder based on a wireless sensor network. The method includes: collecting position information, pressure and temperature parameters of the hydraulic cylinder from bottom-layer nodes through the wireless sensor network to obtain a collection of multi-source data packets, and dividing network levels by using a hierarchical clustering algorithm to determine a collection of cluster head nodes; obtaining convergence path information from the collection of cluster head nodes, constructing an optimized path sequence, processing the collection of multi-source data packets through a data compression method for the optimized path sequence to obtain a simplified data stream; performing multi-hop transmission among the collection of cluster head nodes by using the simplified data stream to determine a transmission delay index, and if the transmission delay index exceeds an allowable range, reallocating the collection of cluster head nodes to obtain an updated collection of cluster head nodes; obtaining a global information integration result from the updated collection of cluster head nodes, judging whether the position deviation exceeds a warning threshold, and obtaining a collection of alarm signals. The present invention ensures the reliability of position monitoring for the continuous rolling mill hydraulic cylinder.
