Abstract
This invention relates to a tie for interconnecting nets. The tie includes an elongate body comprising one or more strands of polymeric material, the one or more strands defining a loop at a first end of the body and a toggle provided at a second end of the body. The loop is configured to receive the toggle and seat the toggle therein while resisting removal, such that the body forms an endless loop which is configured to interconnect adjacent nets. The tie provides an improved method of securely interconnecting nets in underground excavation sites.
