Flame-retardant polymer material and preparation method thereof

Abstract

The present invention discloses a flame-retardant polymer material and a preparation method thereof, belonging to the technical field of polymer materials. The flame-retardant polymer material comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 50-80 parts of polyethylene; 10-20 parts of an inorganic composite flame retardant; 5-15 parts of tetraethoxysilane; 5-15 parts of polysiloxane; 2-4 parts of a coupling agent KH550; 0.5-1 part of an antioxidant 1010; wherein the inorganic composite flame retardant is formed by compounding melamine phosphate with magnesium hydroxide powder. Through multi-component and multi-mechanism synergistic optimization, the present invention successfully solves the core difficulties in the prior art, such as the difficulty in balancing flame retardant efficiency and mechanical properties, poor char layer quality, and insufficient environmental protection, and provides a solution for a high-performance, environmentally friendly, and industrially applicable flame-retardant polyethylene material.
