Abstract

An online ordering system is provided to enable a user to order customised nutritional supplements, the user having an electronic device that is in communication with the online ordering system. The online ordering system comprises at least one processor, and a memory device containing instructions which when executed cause the processor to retrieve and display a list of available base nutritional supplements, typically with reference to a backend database; retrieve and display a list of available mixing ingredients that can be mixed into the base nutritional supplements, as desired and required by the user; enable the user to select one or more base nutritional supplements and / or one or more mixing ingredients; determine the cost of the selected base nutritional supplements and / or one or more mixing ingredients; and manage the payment of the selected base nutritional supplements and / or one or more mixing ingredients.
