Abstract
The present invention provides a method for detecting organic carbon content in shale oil and gas exploration, relating to the technical field of organic carbon content detection. The method for detecting organic carbon content in shale oil and gas exploration includes the following specific steps: S1, first, during the drilling process, take core samples from the shale formation and store the samples in sealed containers; S2, in the laboratory, use saline solution to clean the mud and contaminants from the surface of the core samples; S3, use grinding equipment to crush the core samples, and sieve the crushed samples using a mesh. During the detection process, tungsten particles and tin particles are added to form tin oxide and tungsten trioxide, which reduce the conversion rates of SO2 and SO3. Finally, corresponding SO2 and SO3 adsorption tubes are set in the gas transmission process to remove them before the gas enters the CO2 detector, which helps improve the detection accuracy and reduces errors in organic carbon content detection caused by impurity gases.
