A system and method for facilitating recruitment

Abstract

The present invention relates to a video-first recruitment platform and computer implemented method that maintain a restricted state in which initiation of a recruitment process, access to recruitment features, and generation of a candidate’s dynamic machine-readable user profile are withheld unless and until the candidate submits an introductory video that is received and stored. Upon submission, the system transitions the candidate to an enabled state, optionally deriving non biometric presentation and communication cues from the video for inclusion in the profile and rendering the video to employers before other profile artefacts to standardise first-look screening.
