Abstract

The present invention provides a horizontal wet flue gas desulfurization system. The system comprises an inlet flue gas port, an outlet flue gas port, and a desulfurization chamber fluidly communicating the two, wherein the horizontal flow direction of flue gas within the desulfurization chamber is defined as a first direction. The desulfurization chamber is provided with a spray device configured to spray desulfurization slurry and a gas-liquid dispersion plate inclined downward in the first direction. The gas-liquid dispersion plate is configured to disperse the desulfurization slurry and the flue gas to promote thorough mixing thereof. A flue gas flow passage extending in the first direction is formed below the gas-liquid dispersion plate, the inlet flue gas port being disposed below the gas-liquid dispersion plate and the outlet flue gas port being disposed above the gas-liquid dispersion plate. Multiple gas-liquid dispersion holes are arranged on the gas-liquid dispersion plate to allow upward penetration of flue gas. In the first direction, the gas-liquid dispersion plate defines a high-resistance flue gas section at a proximal end near the inlet flue gas port and a low-resistance flue gas section at a distal end away from the inlet flue gas port.
