Abstract
The present invention is related to an AI controlled irrigation system based on soil moisture to enhance crop productivity. The invention is an AI-driven intelligent smart irrigation system designed to optimize water usage, reduce wastage, and improve crop yields through real-time data acquisition and automated control. The system integrates wireless soil moisture transmitter modules (1002 [A, B]), flow transmitters (1003, 1006), pressure transmitters (1010 [A, B, C]), and a Data Acquisition & Control Unit (1001) to monitor soil conditions and irrigation network performance. The Machine Learning (ML) model (Cloud 2001) analyzes soil moisture levels, weather forecasts, and historical irrigation data to determine the optimal irrigation schedule. Based on AI-driven decisions, the system automatically controls solenoid valves (1009 A, B & C) and pump (1004) to ensure precise irrigation. The system is solar-powered, ensuring sustainability and uninterrupted operation in remote areas. The mobile application (1012) provides real-time monitoring, remote control, and alerts for efficient farm management. This invention eliminates manual irrigation inefficiencies, conserves water by up to 70%, and increases crop yields by 25-30%, making it an advanced solution for precision farming and sustainable agriculture.
