Abstract

The present disclosure discloses a method for identifying the genetic relationship of sorghum hybrids, falling within the field of crop breeding technology, the method comprises the following steps: S1, collecting seed coats from hybrid seeds and tissue samples from sterile lines 3-4 weeks after pollination to obtain tissue samples; S2, extracting DNA from the tissue samples obtained from S1, respectively, respectively; S3, selecting SSR molecular markers with diversity from each chromosome of sorghum, and designing specific primers; S4, amplifying specific primers, detecting amplification products by electrophoresis, and obtaining banding data; S5, analyzing banding data to determine the genetic relationship between sorghum hybrids and sterile lines. This present disclosure discloses the method for identifying the genetic relationship of sorghum hybrids, this identification method is low-cost, provides rapid and accurate results, and is suitable for large-scale, widespread application.
