Abstract

The present invention discloses an electrically controlled edge cutting device for electromechanical machinery. The device comprises a base, a worktable, and a motorized positioning component. A first threaded rod driven by a positioning motor moves a pair of threaded sleeves and positioning plates toward or away from each other, enabling automatic centering and clamping of the workpiece. This replaces manual alignment, providing fast and accurate positioning to ensure stable cutting quality. An adjustment component includes a second threaded rod driven by an adjustment motor, which moves an electric push rod and cutting motor laterally via a connection block. This allows flexible adjustment of the cutting blade’s position relative to the workpiece. The system adapts to workpieces of different sizes and edge-cutting requirements, improving operational versatility and precision. The invention enhances automation, flexibility, and accuracy in edge trimming applications within mechanical processing environments.
