Abstract

Disclosed is a high-efficiency heat-dissipating copper conductor for large cross-section liquid-cooled cables and a manufacturing method thereof. The copper conductor includes, sequentially provided from the inside out: a central support layer, a helical cooling layer, a thermal insulation buffer layer, a composite shaped-wire outer layer, and an outer sheath layer. The central support layer is a hollow round copper tube, and the hollow portion of the round copper tube is used as an auxiliary cooling channel. The helical cooling layer is formed by stranding a plurality of corrugated copper tubes in the same or opposite directions, with nanofluid coolant introduced into the corrugated copper tubes. The composite shaped-wire outer layer is formed by alternately stranding T-shaped copper single wires and Z-shaped copper single wires in one or more layers. The present application effectively enhances the heat dissipation capability of the copper conductor while addressing the issue of conductor screen embedding.
