Abstract
The present invention provides a visual LAMP detection method for detecting Lumpy Skin Disease Virus (LSDV) for non-diagnostic and non-therapeutic purposes, which belongs to the field of biotechnology. The invention exhibits strong specificity, effectively detects LSDV, and is not interfered with or affected by FMDV (Foot-and-Mouth Disease Virus), BVDV (Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus), IBRV (Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis Virus), or GTPV (Goatpox Virus). The invention possesses high sensitivity, with a minimum detection limit of 100 copies / μL, and achieves a clinical sensitivity of 98 %, which is higher than the detection rate of the visual LAMP method recommended by WOAH. Further, the method does not require specialized laboratory equipment; amplification can be performed using a conventional constant-temperature heating block, and positive / negative results can be identified visually. It is simple, rapid, and enables on-site immediate detection of LSDV.
