Abstract
This invention provides a method to enhance the inoculation efficiency of Rhizobium for alfalfa, pertaining to the field of alfalfa cultivation technology. The method involves mixing a diluted crude flavonoid extract of alfalfa with a suspension of rhizobium to form a composite inoculant, which can be used as a seed treatment agent and / or soil conditioner to improve the inoculation efficiency of alfalfa rhizobium. The crude flavonoid extract is obtained from 2-month-old alfalfa plants through grinding, alcohol extraction, ultrasonic treatment, centrifugation, drying, deglycosylation, and ethyl acetate extraction. By utilizing the crude flavonoid extract to promote rhizobium nodule formation, the method enhances the nitrogen-fixing capacity, yield, and quality of alfalfa, reduces chemical fertilizer usage, and mitigates the risk of nitrogen non-point source pollution, demonstrating promising application prospects.
