Abstract
The present invention provides a method for preparing a fly ash-based composite material for formaldehyde removal, which includes the following step: S1. pretreatment and activation of fly ash: sieving and washing raw fly ash to remove an impurity. According to the method for preparing a fly ash-based composite material for formaldehyde removal provided by the present invention, by optimizing acid etching to create abundant loading sites on a fly ash surface and combining controllable Titanium dioxide coating to form an integrated functional zone for "adsorption-enrichment-catalytic degradation", formaldehyde is rapidly adsorbed and enriched first and then catalytically oxidized by nano-Titanium dioxide into carbon dioxide and Water, thereby achieving a high removal rate and strong persistence; moderate etching with hydrochloric acid and gentle drying impart a hierarchical pore structure to the material, thereby greatly increasing a specific surface area and a pore volume, increasing active sites, and accelerating formaldehyde diffusion; and with the fly ash as a raw material, key parameters are optimized to reduce the dosage of expensive chemicals and energy consumption, thereby realizing an economic and environmental value of "treating waste with waste". The process has a clear rule and is easy to scale up production.
