Abstract

The present invention discloses a method based on the ileal microbiota–bile acid axis to evaluate the efficacy of a Chinese herbal compound in treating MASLD. In this invention, by integrating the structural data of the ileal microbiota and the data of bile acid metabolism, it breaks through the limitations of a single indicator in traditional efficacy assessment, and realizes a systematic analysis of the overall regulatory effect of the traditional Chinese medicine compound. By constructing a dual-modal interaction network of microbiota and bile acid, the metabolic potential of the microbiota and the metabolic activity of bile acid are coupled as dynamic interaction weights, making the evaluation results closer to the regulatory mechanism at the biological functional level. Through data integration, not only can the reshaping effect of the traditional Chinese medicine compound on the microbiota structure be captured, but also the coordinated changes in the metabolic function of the microbiota and the bile acid metabolic pathway can be simultaneously reflected, avoiding the one-sidedness caused by isolated indicators, and more comprehensively reflecting the overall regulatory characteristics of the traditional Chinese medicine compound. At the same time, through modular analysis and core node screening, the accuracy and target orientation of the efficacy evaluation are improved.
