Tubular thermoelectric cooling multi-layer membrane distillation module

Abstract

A tubular thermoelectric cooling multi-layer membrane distillation module, mainly comprises two cover plates, a solar heat absorption layer, outer and inner distillation devices, and a feed liquid mixing device; wherein, each cylindrical component provided therein is fixed via grooves provided on the cover plates; an outer or inner hot-side chamber is formed by a hydrophobic membrane together with either the solar heat absorption layer or a heat-dissipating back surface of an outer thermoelectric cooling layer and a gasket, whereas a cold-side chamber is formed by gaskets and a thermoelectric cooling layer; the solar heat absorption layer is configured to provide heating to a feed liquid in the outer hot-side chamber; the thermoelectric cooling layer is configured to provide cooling to the cold side; and the feed liquid mixing device is configured to mix working fluids and utilize the heat from the heat-dissipating back surface of the outer thermoelectric cooling layer.
