Abstract
The present invention provides a measurement pole for community quadrat and circular plot surveys, comprising a measurement pole body, the measurement pole body having a hollow tube section with an accommodating space, and further comprising a tape measure device, the tape measure device being assembled within the accommodating space, the tape measure device including a scale tape that can be wound and has graduations, a through hole being formed in the tube wall of the hollow tube section, the scale tape passing through the through hole and the free end of the scale tape being located outside the tube wall of the hollow tube section; the top of the measurement pole body being provided with an electronic compartment integrating a GPS positioning module, a wireless communication module, and an audible and visual alarm system, the exterior of the electronic compartment being provided with a waterproof sealing cover. The present invention integrates the tape measure device into the hollow tube section of the measurement pole body, enabling the measurement pole body, while achieving fixation to the ground, to also have a scale tape that can be pulled out to a target length. This makes it more convenient during forest community quadrat or circular plot demarcation surveys, overcoming the shortcomings of low positioning efficiency and consequently reduced field work efficiency when using traditional manual tape pulling or tying a fixed-length rope to a traditional measurement pole to demarcate forest community boundaries, thereby improving field work efficiency.
