The invention discloses a sludge solid-liquid separation device and an operation method thereof, comprising a shell, an extrusion device and a filter barrel, wherein a rectangular groove frame is arranged on the shell; the extrusion device and the filter barrel are both arranged in a rectangular groove frame; the top inner surface of the rectangular groove frame is connected with an extrusion device; the extrusion device is arranged in the inner cavity of the filter barrel; the upper part of the rectangular groove frame is provided with a feed box; the front end surface of the bottom of the rectangular groove frame is provided with a sliding way; the bottom of the filter barrel is provided with a concave annular base; the side wall of the concave annular base is provided with a water guiding groove, and the bottom of the concave annular base is provided with a water guiding plate; the water guiding plate is connected with the sliding way in a sliding way, and the invention also discloses a sludge solid-liquid separation device and an operation method thereof. The invention has the advantages of convenient feeding, convenient cleaning and replacement of the filter barrel, simple operation and convenient use.
