Abstract

Disclosed in the present invention are a stranded conductor and a power cable, which relate to the technical field of power facilities. The stranded conductor includes a core wire and first profiled wires, where a radial section of the core wire is circular, the plurality of first profiled wires with sector-shaped radial sections are stranded on an outer circumferential surface of the core wire, and a radius of an inner arc surface of each first profiled wire matches a radius of the core wire, which effectively fills gaps between the first profiled wires and the core wire. The sum of central angles of the inner arc surfaces of the plurality of first profiled wires is less than 360 degrees, such that the situation that a radial stranding increment of the stranded conductor is caused by mutual pressing between adjacent first profiled wires in a stranding process is avoided, and an outer diameter of the stranded conductor is reduced under the same current-carrying capacity.
