Abstract

The present invention relates to the field of biomedicine technology, in particular to the application of 4-VPS in preparing a kit for screening and / or diagnosing hypertensive renal injury. In the present invention, the test sample for 4-VPS is peripheral blood, which is convenient and minimally invasive to collect, facilitating clinical promotion; meanwhile, functional experiments have confirmed that 4-VPS may directly induce renal injury. The early diagnosis of hypertensive nephropathy through 4-VPS enables patients to receive intervention treatment in the early stage of the disease, delays or even avoids progression to end-stage renal disease, reduces the need for subsequent dialysis treatment or kidney transplantation for patients, lowers personal medical expenses, and alleviates the consumption of social medical resources, thus having significant economic benefits.
