Preparation of zirconia composite ceramic ball and polishing method therefor

Abstract

Provided are preparation of a zirconia composite ceramic ball and a polishing method therefor. The zirconia composite ceramic ball has a self-wear rate of 0.001 to 0.1g / kg·h, and Ra is equal to 0.02 to 0.5, so that wear resistance, service life, and other performance of grinding media in product application are improved. A preparation method for a high-performance zirconia composite ceramic ball is further provided, including carrying out surface polishing on zirconia ceramic in a green-body state at an early stage, which simplifies a polishing process, achieves excellent surface finish, and greatly improves production efficiency. The adopted polishing material is readily available, which can achieve excellent surface polishing effect without damaging a green ball, and the polished material can be recycled and reused to greatly reduce production cost.
