Abstract

The design relates to a DISPLAY DEVICE. The DISPLAY DEVICE has attachment formations C at its rear so that it is removably attachable to a front edge of a shelf to display information relating to goods on the shelf. The display device has a transparent front panel A supported along a bottom edge of a backing panel of the device. Panel A locates flat or slightly spaced from, and in front of, the backing panel, when in a rest position. Panel A is resiliently movable from its rest position away from the rear panel of the device, by pulling its upper edge away from the backing panel. When moved away from the backing panel, an information strip B with information thereon, can be inserted in-between panel A and the rear panel. Once the strip B is inserted, panel A resiliently moves back to its rest position, biased towards the backing panel. The height H of the strip is substantially equal to the height H of panel A. The common bottom edge of panel A and the backing panel locates operatively lower than the shelf or the attachment means C to accommodate wider or higher strips B indicted by length H. The length of the elongate device is not claimed.
