Abstract

The design is applied to a planter. The planter has a generally round open-topped configuration, tapering from an upper side towards a lower side thereof. The planter has four oval feet projecting from the lower end of the planter. Four peripherally equi-spaced, generally rectangular drainage formations defining spaced elongate vertical drainage slots, are located in a side and lower corner region of the planter adjacent the lower end thereof. A base wall of the planter at the lower end thereof, has a central domed drainage formation defining a plurality of drainage holes, which projects upwardly into the interior of the planter. A pair of outwardly-projecting lugs are located at opposite sides of the upper end of the planter. Each lug has a pair of spaced upwardly-projecting locating posts for locating a pipe such as an irrigation pipe, between them.
