Facility Recommendation System with Automated Reservation and Logistics
Find Innovative SolutionsGenerate Solutions
Solution Overview
Problem
Conventional facility reservation systems do not provide users with timely information on available facilities matching their preferences, leading to user effort in checking availability and potential missed opportunities for facility usage.
Innovation Solution
A facility use management system that includes a management server and user terminal, which generates and transmits recommendation data on available facilities matching user preferences, and automatically handles reservations, transportation, and material delivery upon user request, using communication with parking lots and material centers to facilitate seamless access.
Engineering Contradictions & Design Principles
Engineering Contradiction Analysis
1Ease of operation
If the system provides comprehensive facility information and automated services, then user convenience and facility utilization increase, but system complexity and operational costs increase
Solution Approach 1:
The system enables automated facility reservations, transportation arrangements, and material deliveries without requiring direct human intervention for each transaction. The server automatically processes user preferences, checks availability, and executes bookings, allowing the system to serve itself and reducing operational complexity despite comprehensive services.
Solution Approach 2:
The management server integrates multiple functions including facility reservation, transportation scheduling, and material delivery coordination into a single platform. This multi-functional approach consolidates what would otherwise require separate systems, managing complexity through unification rather than proliferation of independent systems.
2Productivity
If the system automatically generates and transmits recommendation data to users, then user engagement and facility usage increase, but information processing requirements and system resource consumption increase
Solution Approach 1:
The system pre-generates recommendation data based on user profiles and facility availability before users actively search for facilities. By preparing recommendations in advance and pushing them to users, the system reduces the need for users to manually query multiple facilities, increasing utilization while optimizing server processing through targeted, pre-computed data generation.
Solution Approach 2:
The system dynamically adjusts recommendation generation parameters based on user behavior patterns, facility categories of interest, and real-time availability. By changing parameters such as recommendation frequency, data detail level, and targeting specificity, the system optimizes resource consumption while maintaining high user engagement and facility utilization.
Data Source
AI summary
Recommendation data that matches a preference of a user and includes data on a facility available for the user is generated based on various data. The various data include registration data on the user, hobby data on the user, registration data on the various facilities, and use situation data on the various facilities. The recommendation data is transmitted to the user terminal. After transmission of the recommendation data, it is determined whether the reservation request data has been received from the user terminal or not. The reservation request data includes data on a requested facility wished by the user, and data on an available time slot of the requested facility. When it is determined that the reservation request data has been received, a reservation of the requested facility covering the available time slot is made based on the reservation request data.
