Abstract

The invention discloses an air conditioner and a control method and device for a dust sensor in the air conditioner. The air conditioner comprises a heat exchange air duct and an air treatment device; the air treatment device comprises a shell and a fresh air fan; the fresh air fan is arranged in the shell; an air treatment air duct which is isolated from the heat exchange air duct is arranged in the shell; a fresh air inlet and a fresh air outlet are formed in the shell; and the dust sensor is arranged corresponding to the air treatment air duct. The method comprises the steps that when the fresh air fan is started, the dust concentration value in the air treatment air duct is detected through the dust sensor; the illuminance of the indoor environment is detected; and the dust sensor is controlled to be started intermittently according to the illuminance of the indoor environment. The method has the advantage that the dust sensor is controlled to be started and stopped intermittently by detecting the indoor illuminance, and therefore the damage to the service life of the dust sensor can be reduced.
