Abstract

An intraocular lens insertion instrument 1 includes: an insertion instrument body 2 having a hollow cylindrical part capable of including an intraocular lens; movement mechanism parts 20, 30 for moving the intraocular lens in the hollow cylindrical part; and a cap member 3 attached to the insertion instrument body 2. The cap member 3 can be attached to and detached from the insertion instrument body 2, can rotate in a direction around the cylinder axis of the hollow cylindrical part in a state of being attached to the insertion instrument body 2, and is configured so that the movement mechanism parts 20, 30 move the intraocular lens in conjunction with rotation of the cap member 3.
