Abstract

The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for controlling electrochromic glass in a vehicle. The method comprises setting a vertical obscuration angle range based on which vertical incident angle range a vertical incident angle falls into that is determined for a plurality of regions within the electrochromic glass, respectively, setting a horizontal obscuration angle range based on which horizontal incident angle range a horizontal incident angle falls into that is determined for a plurality of regions within the electrochromic glass, respectively, determining an obscuration region based on the vertical obscuration angle range and the horizontal obscuration angle range, and tinting the obscuration region.
