The application discloses a new material glass insulator quality inspection device, relates to the technical field of insulator detection, and comprises a quality inspection table, a guide rail is fixedly installed on the top of the quality inspection table, a lifting device is slidably installed on the left side of the guide rail, a visual inspection device is arranged in the lifting device, a mounting seat is fixedly installed on the top of the quality inspection table, a load-bearing frame is fixedly installed on the left side of the mounting seat, a rotating rod is rotatably arranged through the left and right walls of the load-bearing frame, and a quality inspection assembly is further arranged; the quality inspection assembly comprises a shielding plate, an elastic telescopic plate, an elastic roller, a linkage plate, a limiting frame and a limiting groove; the limiting frame is in contact with the limiting groove when being moved upward and reset, and the rotating rod is limited, so that the rotating rod is prevented from shaking due to the bumping of the insulator umbrella skirt against the clamping device, the lock module of the motor is protected, the motor is prevented from being slightly rotated and deviated due to damage of the lock module, and the initial rotation angle of the clamped insulator is ensured to be consistent each time.
