Abstract

The application provides a secondary battery and a power consumption device, the secondary battery comprising an electrode assembly, an electrolyte, a shell, and a cover, the cover being arranged on the shell, the electrode assembly and the electrolyte being accommodated in the shell, one side of the cover facing the electrode assembly being provided with a filtering structure, the filtering structure comprising a filter screen and filtering filler, and the filtering filler being located between the filter screen and the cover. By arranging the filtering structure on the cover, when the cover needs to be punched, the possibility of impurity particles entering the inside of the secondary battery can be reduced, so that the risk of short circuit of the secondary battery can be reduced.
