Abstract

Radiometric measuring device (10) for determining a fill level or density of a medium (106) in a container (104), comprising the measuring device (10): a plurality of scintillating optical waveguides (12), each designed to convert at least part of an ionizing first radiation (110) passing through the medium (106) into a second electromagnetic radiation (11); at least one photomultiplier (16) for at least partially converting the second electromagnetic radiation (11) into an electrical signal; an evaluation unit (20) which is configured to determine the fill level or density of the medium (106) based on the electrical signals and to output a measurement signal correlated with the fill level or density; and a guide device (14) with a plurality of recesses (15) in which each end (13) of one of the optical waveguides (12) is received in such a way that the optical waveguides (12) are displaceable in the recesses (15) in the longitudinal direction of the optical waveguides (12); wherein each optical waveguide (12) is optically coupled to the at least one photomultiplier (16).
