Abstract

The invention relates to a telescopic support rod (17) for supporting a tiltable driver's cab (2) of a commercial vehicle (1), having a guide device (67), an inner part (25), which is accommodated at least in portions inside the guide device (67), and a locking and unlocking unit (71), which couples the inner part (25) to the guide device (67), wherein the telescopic support rod (17) can be brought from a retracted state (Z10) into an extended state (Z20) by an outward movement of the inner part (25) out of the guide device (67) and from the extended state (Z20) into the retracted state (Z10) by an inward movement of the inner part (25) into the guide device (67), and wherein the locking and unlocking unit (71) locks the inner part (25) and the guide device (67) together when the telescopic support rod (17) is brought from the retracted state (Z10) into the extended state (Z20) in order to lock the telescopic support rod (17) in the extended state (Z20).
