SIMPLIFIED STRUCTURE OF TANDEM SOLAR CELLS WITH TWO TERMINALS

Abstract

Tandem photovoltaic structure (100) comprising, from the rear face to the front face: - a first silicon heterojunction solar cell (110): a first layer of amorphous silicon of a first conductivity type and a doped crystalline silicon substrate (112) disposed between two layers of intrinsic amorphous silicon (113, 114), - a recombination zone comprising a nano- or microcrystalline silicon layer of the second conductivity type, - a second solar cell (130) comprising an active layer (131) of a perovskite material and a second layer of a second conductivity type. The recombination zone further comprises a layer of the first conductivity type in contact with the active layer of the second cell or a nano- or microcrystalline silicon layer of the first conductivity type in contact with the active layer of the second solar cell.
