Abstract

The invention relates to a positioning tool for a pivot (P) carried by a suspension arm (B) for mounting on a motor vehicle wheel hub, said hub being provided with a fork (F) and a fixing member (K) for said pivot, characterized in that it comprises a handle (11) carrying, on the one hand, a blade (12) intended to be positioned, during mounting, under the suspension arm (B) and, on the other hand, a key (10) for retaining the fixing member (K) extending in a plane parallel to the blade (12) and defining with it an intermediate distance (X) corresponding to the locking position of the pivot (P) in said fork (F).
