Abstract
To provide an antiviral alloy and an antiviral member that exhibit sufficient effectiveness against non-enveloped viruses.SOLUTION: An antiviral alloy comprises copper (Cu), tin (Sn), and gold (Au), wherein the copper content is from 60 wt.% to 80 wt.%, the tin content is from 20 wt.% to 40 wt.%, and the gold content is from 0.01 wt.% to 2 wt.%. An antiviral member is formed using the antiviral alloy. The antiviral alloy and the antiviral member exhibit effectiveness against non-enveloped viruses in a short time.SELECTED DRAWING: None
