Abstract

The present invention relates to a computer-implemented method for displaying a 3D model of a patient's organ on a navigation system display device (15), the method comprising: receiving spatial coordinates (Sxvz) from a sensor (131) of a catheter (13) inside a portion (CS) of the organ (SOI), the spatial coordinates (Sxvz) defining a reference point cloud (RPC) of the portion of the organ; receiving (505) a plurality of points defining a 3D model (IH) of the organ, a subset of the points being labeled to define a segmentation (Res) corresponding to the portion of the organ; calculating (51) a spatial transformation (T), the spatial transformation (T) minimizing an error metric (E) between a result of this spatial transformation for the segmentation (T(Rcs)) and the reference point cloud; and displaying on the display device a landmark (LM) at the current position of the catheter and, at the same time, the result of the spatial transformation for the 3D model (IH1).
