Abstract

Exemplary embodiments of this disclosure relate to low-power wake-up signal (LP-WUS) paging. In one embodiment, a terminal device acquires a first paging configuration for a first type of terminal device that is an LP-WUS-enabled device, the first paging configuration being different from a second paging configuration for a second type of terminal device that is an LP-WUS-incompatible device. Based on the determination that the device is an LP-WUS-enabled device, the terminal device monitors paging messages according to the first paging configuration. In this way, beneficial effects can be achieved, such as reducing paging latency for LP-WUS-based operation.
