Abstract

A specific chemical compound of formula (I): This specification discloses chemical compounds useful for treating cancers, including cancers that are treatable by WRN inhibition, such as those characterized by microsatellite instability (MSI) and / or dysfunction of DNA mismatch repair (dMMR), and more particularly by inhibiting Werner syndrome ATP-dependent helicase enzyme (WRN) activity, and thus WRN helicase domain activity. Pharmaceutical compositions comprising such compounds, methods of using such compounds, and methods of preparing them are also disclosed.
