Battery cover

Abstract

The goal is to improve battery performance. [Solution] The battery cover includes a cover body and electrical terminals extending through a hole in the cover body. The electrical terminals include a crimp connector including a connector base positioned adjacent to the inner surface of the cover body and a post extending from the connector base through a hole in the cover body; a seal extending around the post of the crimp connector, wherein the inner portion of the seal is positioned between the cover body and the connector base, the central portion of the seal is positioned between the cover body and the post, and the outer portion of the seal is positioned on the outer surface of the cover body; and a washer positioned around the post and on the outer portion of the seal.
