AI Technical Summary
Technical Problem
Existing power supply devices for vehicles and storage systems face reliability issues due to hidden electrode terminals when bus bars are larger, making it difficult to ensure accurate welding positions and strengths.
Method used
The power supply device incorporates bus bars with strategically opened windows that allow visible access to the electrode terminals, enabling confirmation of connection positions and heights, thus improving welding reliability.
Benefits of technology
This configuration allows for accurate verification of electrode terminal positions and heights, enhancing the reliability of connections between bus bars and electrode terminals, and ensuring stable welding strengths.

Abstract
This power supply device (100) is provided with: a cell stack (10) which is obtained by stacking a plurality of cells (1) each having an electrode terminal (2) on the upper surface of an outer package can; and a plurality of bus bars (40) each connecting electrode terminals (2) of cells (1) adjacent to each other. Each bus bar (40) is open at a window part (42) through which a part of an electrode terminal (2) of a cell (1) is visible in a state where the bus bar is overlapped with the electrode terminal (2) when viewed in plan. Consequently, even if a bus bar (40) is superposed on an electrode terminal (2), the electrode terminal (2) beneath the bus bar is visible through the window part (42) and the position or height of the connection can be seen, thereby enabling the enhancement of the connection reliability.
