Foot size measuring device and method

Abstract

To provide a technique capable of enhancing the efficiency of foot size measurement.SOLUTION: In a foot size measuring system, a measuring unit 42 measures part of multiple measurement elements to be measured as a feature value that defines the size of one shoe selectively from an image of a leg of a subject. An information generation unit 50 generates a piece of foot size information based on some measurement elements selectively measured by the measuring unit 42 out of multiple measurement elements. An output unit 58 outputs the foot size information. The measuring unit 42 selectively measures some measurement elements out of the multiple measurement elements including the width and length of one foot of the subject.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
